The Presence Lab™ is a consultancy, methodology studio, and artistic research practice. We work at the intersection of ancestral intelligence, emerging technology, and living systems, helping organisations move beyond narrow intelligence so they can build what the world actually needs.

THE RITUAL OF INHERITED CODE
An ongoing artistic research project at the intersection of soil, DNA, sound, and material intelligence.
The premise: intelligence is not only held in data or decisions. It is held in land. In lineage. In the patterns that repeat across generations before anyone names them. The Ritual of Inherited Code makes those patterns audible — and in doing so, asks what it means to build systems that remember.
Current work includes spatial audio research with Arts University Plymouth, African language dataset integration through WaxalNLP, and soil and DNA sonification as a form of ancestral foresight. The project sits at the boundary of artistic practice, institutional research, and cultural intelligence.
This is the work that cannot be finished in a single lifetime. It is not meant to be.
